WAM --> A Profit Jam....!!!!
I did Nucor last month. Here’s the link.
http://noonesapproval.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Nucor seems to be in an X-wave at the moment
The first third of the 1st X is complete now = a possible Sell Sell Sell for a quick nimble trade
The price should now move below 45 again as the next third of the first X is formed, then any buyer will hope for a one X pattern reversal
If you think there will be multiple X-waves in the reversal pattern – ie as in a channel
Then – possible buys on the dipper waves all the way through could be prudent here.
When NUE breaks out of the channel - that doesn't exist yet - a set of sell orders at NUE's correct price proportion to the channel and done

Which one and when?
So the question remains, ... Is the Biting on Apple Done?
We ask ourselves - where oh where will the apple tree grow from here?
Apple could settle to any of the levels listed below very easily.
AAPL HZ <= 82.38-100.51-108.55-114.31
There seem to be strong signs in the natural world indicating the Apple phenomena is not yet finished playing out. My guess at this point is that apple is a strong buy at all price points listed above for investors with 12 month or longer investment horizons.

Mining Aint Shining ... !! ... YET ... !!!
Take a look at FCX for instance. It broke out of it's channel back in late march and overdrove till that channel was only 25% of the total move. These mining stocks are still in their 3rd wave down, and we should see more damage here.
Look for the next Honey Zone down...
FCX HZ <= 62.11-65.87
BHP HZ <= 45.16-47.7
IVN HZ <= 9.25-9.94
TCK HZ <= 33.98-38.4

The 5th Wave ... !!!
Finally - The fifth wave is here. Look at Nucor now. It is in the Honey Zone! There are many stocks getting to this 5th wave position on the downside right now. Others like Rose got there earlier and are even more likely to break down more if market conditions do not get better.
Companies like Apple have gotten to a 5th wave position but only relative to the last quarter's momentum.
I don't see another 5waver down from here, but the x-wave action from here could be far more choppy than I had expected.
I was wrong when I predicted the correction would be in the form of X-waves, which would take stocks through appropraite blow-off activity without indicating a complete reversal.
The 5 wave movement down is a clear reversal of momentum and and not just Bull market steam. This is truly an epic battle of the Bears vs the Bulls. Each side has now had 5 waves back to back with no X-Action in between. This is a very Rare condition and the buying opportunities are tremendous. The losing opportunities are tremendous as well.
Be careful from here.
I still like all the stocks I've chosen thus far and am riding through this severe pain period with maximum dividend reinvestment while watching for the final shakeout on stocks like Nucor Steel.
I was hoping for x-wave continuance, then hoped for 5th wave failure, and now I can't believe my eyes!
5 waves up followed by 5 waves down I'm seeing all around!

Calling Bottoms Bottomed...
Tops & Bottoms are much the same of some things quite different. You see, right now for instance mechanisms are in place to approach the top of the much anticipated bottom everyone is waiting for in fear it'll never come. So, when it does finally come, all the talk will be of whether the bottom has bottomed out or not...
I like to to look for stocks to indicate the top and bottom of the bottom. The question is whose bottom and which one are we going to look at, since there are countless equities with bottoms near and every bottom has another bottom in the closet somewhere.
Well, don't be discouraged it'll all seem simple soon.
RTP has knocked 38% from a measured move up to 325 & maybe with the right combination of irresponsible political/media environments coupled with fanatical fear mongering we might see the first top of the first possible bottom once RTP has declined to about 229 - then watch as the bottom unfolds to bottom out altogether around 185.77333.

Tankers in the Sky with Diamonds...
Well it's that time again.
The US Air Force has decided the nice work done by their academy's top cadets planning routes and schedules to maximize utilization of the now legacy refueler aircraft bought and leased from companies like Boeing, simply isn't going to burn enough fuel to offset the major fuel savings resulting from consumers pressuring the white house to push congress into action compelling manufacturers to increase fuel efficiency across consumer vehicles - and stuff like that... yeah.
So, what are they gonna do?
Eat Em?
Don't be silly, they're going to purchase and lease very large new AirTankers, build bigger faster fighter/bomber/Recon engines, and task 2007 top AirAcadamy cadets with calculating the most energy inefficient routes and schedules possible in order to achieve world dominance via chaotic air control in theaters where unpredictable yet probable position "transparticulation" is an advantage.
TransParently they're trying to watch over the Worlds Children...& that's gonna burn some energy...to say the least.

ROSE EZZrRED...HOT...!!!
ROSE watcher alert --> BLOOMs ahead --> if you are still interested, ROSE has entered the honey-zone and is trading @ 16.99 --> some negative news has entered the scene and even lower prices could be found on this one in the near term. Personally - I'm passing and put more change on CNE just today in fact. Obided by the "catch & release" strategy employed for growth winners with low dividends and sent ACH back to the wild this morning... hope to regret it for all who are still holding :-)
For those of you who were lucky enough not to have been on my mailing list when I first wrote about ROSE, I have included the following excert from that message from none other than the one and only 7/11/2007.
"
ROSE
Rose's viscosity was so thick --> like I said after visually viewing" the candlestick data <-- that when it fell from 21.34 to 19.12 (~10.5%) in just 2.5hrs it only bounced back to 19.64. Since the expected bounce given standard momentum and uncompressed time should have been 19.86, it is now likely to move further to the next "Eliotte-Shelf" down. In high momentum situations under compressed time --> Huge Bounces occur --> even when the pressure brings the mean wave upper boundary zones of trading at or below the far outlying mode of wave pattern distribution of trade prices.
Had the bounce popped up to 19.86 and above while "waving-out" to a mean which nestles just above the 19.86 and whose most frequent lower boundary is also 19.86, then a stronger likelihood for reversal would have presented.
ROSE will likely continue to traverse in a rapid and "broken-style X-Wave" toward a mean trading value of 17.467
Did you see the coverage tonight on Frontline. I have still been a buyer at this level. We loaded on it Mon & Tue Morning. And tonight free advertising with Kramer validating by indirect implication that the dividend yield is more than sustainable.
"FROwnerSHIP"
"NewturmZanSpresions" will be "enclosed in a thick layer of case-hardened" quotes and will fail to penetrate and permeate the tissues of your brain. Except,..........When Your Strange :)

And Why You Might Ask?
Or even How and What...
So, here it is --> the price ranges I am suggesting to be opportunities for me to buy in are; what I am guessing to be the break-even levels for those who buy everyone's shares in major sell-offs. Tricky yet simple since these market-making pockets have owned and will always own these same stocks before during and after every run-up, sell-off, and spin-out.
These are the Deep-Pockets who accumulate while everyone sells and distribute while everyone buys.
by the way: We're in the "Spin-Out" right now -- the beginning of a colossal X-Wave -- Don't get spun-behind = when you sell your good holdings out of fear and then buy another strong one once it proves itself in the next rally. The problem is if your selling one you know is good already because it's low, you can't within the same reasoning buy another the same until it breaks out to prove it's worth! Otherwise, you shouldn't have sold the one you had. So, if you're going to catch the full next-move up you have to be in before the proof..
a. sell a winner low to buy another winner high: to watch another high fall late to a double-loser disco where someone got "spun-out"
b. sell a winner low to buy a winner low except your new buy is a loser in disguise --> you been spun
c. sell a winner low and wait --> buy a winner high --> miss the 1st wave of the move or possibly you traded for a hidden loser!!!
