Next Generation Messaging ...

1. "Object Threading" ... Once an email is generated all replies to it are embedded into the original email creating a thread accessed via hovering over the portion highlighted by the responding party when they crafted the response. This portion would blink at you whenever new information is added to the thread by anyone on the email to/copy-to for that thread hierarchy. When crafting a response to any portion of an email one would highlight the section of interest and select reply to selected individuals, email, text, chat(if receiving party(s) are online, and a topic name (default is abbreviated portion of highlighted content) for the new thread.

2. "Identity Mail" .. Messages can be filtered at the receiving end automatically to separate any mail from senders who have not proven their identity on the mobile me system (whether or not they are mobile me users or not). So, if you are not a mobile me user and try sending a message to mobile me user an automatic reply will be sent to that party linking and instructing them to register and validate their identity so they can send to mobile me users primary email inbox. Have special sites for commercial registrations and individual registrations. Allow users to decide how to customize their filtering standards

3. "Immersion Bubbles" ... When new information is available due to replies within any section of the email, simply hovering over the part of the message replied to will unveil via a bubble-preview popup-access with embedded icons which activate different types of deeper views, editors, and summaries for discovering, previewing/full-viewing, and replying (email, text, or chat threads are all contained as threads here).

4. "LogIcons" ... Each message has a translucent 3D object (like gemstones) next to it with another 3D image inside of it ( like a human form for personal mail, building for commercial mail, ... etc). Hovering over the Gem enlarges it allowing the user to hover over different portions of the embedded form. If you hover over the human head you will be delivered full summary information of all the people in all embedded threads. If you hover over the hand you will be delivered summary information of all written threads organized by topic (see 1. above). If you hover over a foot you will be delivered summary information of all routing/mail-exchange information regarding all threads and organized by topics. etc etc - Summary information can be drilled into directly from this area and therefore opening the message is not even required to drill into the chains and find desired data.

5. "Enterprise Born" ... Target the enterprise right away since they have the most to gain by having only 1 email required for each project...etc. Project mail, corporate bulletins, service notifications, alerts, etc etc would all have different 3D objects next to them thereby allowing a quick shake of the mouse to separate the inbox into layers where the priority mails float to the top quickly ... allow for predefined symbol categories like gemstones, animals, geometric designs, etc etc

6. "Communication Presence" ... Anyone added onto an email or any embedded thread who is online and active in the system at the time is indicated as such and many communications can be added by chatting against the section of interest - of course the chat thread is embedded into the email at the section where the conversation takes place.

7. "Floodlight" ... Allow for high power searches where information needed from other emails, the web, and/or local files can be found together with and in relation to thread topics and attached if desired as links or objects within the message.
8. "Intrinsic Subjecting Revelation" ... If you are typing an email to someone you have given authorization for "Subject Revelation" and they happen to be online; they can see what you are typing in near real-time and may choose to highlight a portion of it and begin a chat response thereby eliminating the need to continue in many cases - so now you are able to chat without having to track a chat window and monitor for responses since if they are not responding an email is formed.

9. "The Gist" ... Allow a certain class of email - perhaps the "Diamond symbol" require a who what when where why and How in order to be delivered. this way important tasks cannot be overlooked and can quickly be printed in summary form whether you have 5000 emails in you inbox or not -- if someone asked for something with this method you can know about it quickly by generating a summary of all items using this template.

10. "Proximity Awareness" ... Allow the system to gather and display a container with all email containing threads relative to the current context of your proximity. So if you are a sales person and you become near a client (who is also GPS enabled), all emails and their embedded threads and summary information is automatically moved into an easy to find and view container for quick reference. If you want to set a reminder it no longer has to be a time. It can be a place, time&place, distance from a certain person, etc etc ... Alerts can be set to activate reminders based on time, place, time and place, proximity to individuals or any entities, when any event occurs the system is aware of 9like messages sent/received, tasks completed, etc etc ...

has the "Great Compression Ended"

1929 to 1939 was apparently the "Great Depression" ... perhaps 2007 to 2010 will be remembered as the "Great Compression" ... ending with this illustrious "September-to-Remember" ...

Having contracted heavy recessionary conditions from onslaught to recovery in just 3 years instead of 10 may have been a great feat of "Econopolitic Compressionomics"

I guess we'll have to wait 7 years without bad luck to find out :)

21st Century Likes & Dislikes ...

I like the innovation yet dislike the dysfunctional means by which it introduces itself ... ex ..the decoupling of software and hardware innovations in most new systems..or..the rapid onset of combinable products not yet combined ... the delivery of powerful electric transportation alternatives finally having great design form function and value but still coupled to antiquated power/fuel supply infrastructures ...collaborative digital networks having major discontinuities due to their diverse frameworks which result in presenting few"cross-functional-familiarities" among the interactive experiences ...etc

I like the excellent level of intelligence of humankind but dislike the methods of stupidity by which most intelligent minds ensue upon their endeavors ...

I like the trends towards readily available nutritive foods but dislike the difficulty in maintaining a properly efficient and reliable means by which to deliver them in a healthy way to people on a consistent basis

I like the fact there is still a forest not far from homes that smells fresh and relaxes the soul but dislike the lack of convenient time or "socioinductive/socionatural" active inclination to spend what time there is available wandering amongst the trees

I like wandering amongst the trees but dislike the feeling of being disconnected from 21st century innovation ... ^_*

I like the rising level of nurturing familial societal and educational commitments to the worlds children but dislike the fact the America in particular is seemingly still struggling the hardest amongst developing/developed nations with maintaining late-teen focus in such important areas

I like the fact that actually most of the major complex and distributed battles being waged are for the common good and being done with little overall long-term detrimental impact but dislike the fact that so many of them are being lost even though they are not losing-battles ...

I like the abundant plethora of sensable things where inherent nonsense is fundamental to the sense yet I dislike all the nonsensical things which never seem to make sense while being seemingly sensable ...
